The Milkshake Poem

So this guy, dressed like a smart looking bum, he stops Jesse and Celine in the middle of their late night stroll in the park. Jesse was holding Celine's hand and kissing it every now and then. She had asked him what it was about her that would bug him. And one thing lead to another and they started bickering a bit. This was when that guy stopped them and said,

"I'm going to do something different. Instead of asking you for money, you give me a word and I'll write you a poem. If you like it, if it adds something to your life, then you can pay me. However much you want."

And the word was Milkshake. And this is the poem:

Daydream delusion.
Limousine eyelash.
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes!
See what you mean to me
Sweetcakes and milkshakes

I'm a delusioned angel
I'm a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don't want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from?
You have no idea where we're going?
Launched in life
Like branches in a river
Flowing downstream caught in a current
I carry you
You carry me
That's how it could be
Don't you know me
Don't you know me by now?

And they liked it and they paid him.
