*woof woof* Test test...

So I drove back to Kuantan all by my lonesome on Wednesday, had my presentation the next morning at 9, and drove back home all by my lonesome (a little bit faster this time, ahyuks. But I maintain, I was always within reasonable speed limits.) Oh wait no. On the way back I had Vincent to keep me company. Strapped safely in the passenger seat. I think the sight of his lethal blue body freaked the girl in the toll booth a wee bit.

What I like about this last semester was that I made a NEW friend. Like, someone I really hope will be around for the remaining part of my life. Though I know, the odds are against it, because we run with such different circles. I'd marry her to one of my brothers just to keep her close, but I don't wanna do that to her. :P

I like that I put a lotta effort into the things that I thought were important, but I took my breaks and did things that let me escape into myself. I learned to enjoy my solitude, I learned to enjoy people.

The library was my second home, because I couldn't use my laptop. That was a blessing in disguise really. It led me to a book I read years ago, but only realized it's quiet wisdom when I read it again 2 weeks ago.

"The secret of happiness is to see the marvels of the world, and never to forget the drops of oil on the spoon."

".. he saw a pair of hawks flying high in the sky... Although their flight appeared to have no pattern, it made a certain kind of sense to the boy... Maybe the desert birds could explain to him the meaning of love without ownership."

And with that. I can say, I bid undergraduate life adieu. It was the best of times:

running in the park. late night conversations. drawing and drawing and drawing. writing and writing. debates and discussions.

It was the worst of times:

Err. I can't even remember now what was so bad. Oh yea. The stinky water under the cafe. *sigh*

ADIEU ADIEU! On to...

On a separate note. my little baby kiddie skinny sister Tasnim is reading The Moon is Low by John Steinbeck. She read The Pearl some weeks ago and loved it. I'm so happy.
