Teman berlari

Top 10 songs for my regular morning runs:

Closing time and Crossfire are equally good to start a run with. Slow, steady entrance then a burst of music fueling the hope that I can go double what I usually do! 3km? Pishtosh tis nothing! I go for 6km! I am invincible! How did I only run 3km last time? *mental head scratch*

The sun is starting to hit my eye now, because I couldn't get myself out earlier than 8.30am, but it's okay I'm still enjoying this awesome morning run! And hey, look Ma, running, whistling, singing, "OH home, lalalalalala!"

This is also a good second-song to come up in the shuffle. I'm still going strong, and as I sing along I am reminded that U2 is awesome!

Breath is getting slightly ragged at this point, but I still try to singalong to I summon you, under my breath. And with my tudung beginning to skew, and my face starting to pale, I can't help but suspect I am exuding a slightly "crazy running lady" vibe.

I am now tired. But the groove is still on-- thank you Fatboy Slim. I do have to praise you! Thank you The Killers, for being Mr. Brightside while my vision is starting to feel a bit dim. And of course, the lyrics from Seed 2.0 (He just said whuttt?) keep my nicely distracted from the burgeoning feeling of loath towards this run I got myself into.

At this point, I know I will NOT be doing 4km, 5km or 6km. In fact, I'm not sure I want to continue the last 0.5km to complete the expected 3km. I'm no longer singing along, I hate my shoes, I'm increasingly aware of every aching body part and losing awareness of my surroundings. This is where JB comes along and pushes me through the last 3-4 minutes telling me Never Say Die! Or something. I can barely make out the lyrics at this point. No cars go is also a good end song because there aren't so many lyrics to try and make out anyway. It's just loud heart pumping sounds sending me straight into the finish line.

And clock! 20 minutes. GEEZ. 3km. DOUBLE GEEZ. In miles that's 1.8miles only. Let's not even try to convert to lightyears. Man, tomorrow, I'm gonna do 5km.

It takes me weeks to finish walking 3km, months if i dont hit the shopping mall, years if the mall plays JB music. i mean song (cant consider his song music).
